Why is my uploaded design rotated?

Vector format file (EPS, PDF, SVG, AI) sometimes include tags, which function as instructions for systems that interact with them. When these vector files are created specifically for screen printing, they often include tags that result in the image being rotated or turned in addition to adding print registration marks. 

If your image is being rotated when you upload it to your shop, you'll need to remove the tags that are instructing our system to rotate the image by flattening the vector image.

The easiest way to do so is to resave the file as a transparent .png file.
