Account Types

Your account type controls what you can see and do in the platform. There are three account types:

What can a Shop Administrator do?

What can a Shop Creator do?

, and Report Viewer. To check your account type, look at the User Tile at the bottom-left corner of your dashboard.

Shop Administrator

Shop Administrators manage all shops within the company directory.

Permissions include:

  • Creating and managing shops

  • Inviting and managing Shop Creators

  • Assigning account types

  • Viewing reports for all shops in the directory

  • Adjusting pricing, markup rules, and payables

  • Sharing commission and markup with other users or payees

Shop Administrators have the highest level of access and are responsible for overall directory configuration.

Shop Creator

Shop Creators can create and manage their own shops.

Permissions include:

  • Creating shops

  • Managing products, pricing, markup, and shop settings

  • Viewing reports for their own shops only

  • Sharing markup with payees when needed

Shop Creators do not have visibility into other users’ shops and cannot change directory-level settings.

Report Viewer

A Report Viewer has read-only access to reporting. They cannot create or modify shops, products, pricing, or payables.

Permissions include:

  • Viewing reports for shops they have been granted access to

  • Viewing sales, orders, and performance metrics

  • Viewing their own earnings only, if attached to a payable

They cannot create or edit shops, modify pricing, or configure payables.

What is a Payable?

A Payable is not an account type. It is a designated recipient for profit sharing — either a platform user or an external party (such as a vendor or partner). Shop Administrators can share both base commission and markup with payables; Shop Creators can share markup only.
