Account Types

Your account type determines what you can see and do within the platform. You can view your assigned account type in the User Tile at the bottom-left corner of your dashboard.

Shop Administrator

Shop Administrators manage all shops within the company directory.

Permissions include:

  • Creating and managing shops

  • Inviting and managing Shop Creators

  • Assigning account types

  • Viewing reports for all shops in the directory

  • Adjusting pricing, markup rules, and payables

  • Sharing commission and markup with other users or payees

Shop Administrators have the highest level of access and are responsible for overall directory configuration.

Shop Creator

Shop Creators can create and manage their own shops.

Permissions include:

  • Creating shops

  • Managing products, pricing, markup, and shop settings

  • Viewing reports for their own shops only

  • Sharing markup with payees when needed

Shop Creators do not have visibility into other users’ shops and cannot change directory-level settings.

Report Viewer

Report Viewers have access to reporting only.

Permissions include:

  • Viewing reports for shops they have been granted access to

  • Viewing sales, orders, and performance metrics

  • They can only see profits if attached to a payable, in which case they would only see their own earnings.

They cannot create or edit shops, modify pricing, or configure payables.

Payables (Referenced Role)

A Payable is not an account type but a designated recipient for profit sharing.

Important notes:

  • Administrators can share both base commission and markup.

  • Shop Creators can share markup.

  • Payables may represent users or non-users depending on the business need.

For setup instructions, see: How to Add a Payable.

Summary

  • Shop Administrators manage everything across the directory.

  • Shop Creators manage the shops they build.

  • Report Viewers have reporting-only access.

  • Payables are entities used for profit-sharing rules, not users.
